Derek Edward Trotter
(David Jason)

Derek is usually called "Del" or "Delboy" he is an outgoing, optimistic person.
He is a bit of a 'flash git' according to some mostly his younger brother Rodney
He has a heart of gold and he will do anything to help anyone. Del's main aim in life is to make loads of dosh and become a millionaire and i nearly forget he don't want to meet a taxman or VAT man.

Rodney Charlton Trotter
(Nicholas Lyndhurst)

Rodney is Del's younger brother, he can be a bit of a "plonker", but he always means well. He is normally on a diffrent planet most of the time so this means that people can easily con him. Rodney tries really hard to be be one of the lads but it normally don't go to plan. Although he argues with Del and often wishes he could be more independent, he loves his big brother and would do anything for him.

Albert Gladstone Trotter

(Buster Merryfield)

Uncle Albert is Grandad's brother, even though they were not on speaking terms befor grandads death. Albert is an old "sea dog" who bores everyone to death with his stories about the things that happened to him. When ever he first starts the story he always says "During the war" Since retiring from the Merchant Navy, he has survived by living with relatives. All of whom eventually find a way of getting rid of him. Eventually Del and Rodney end up with him as a lodger.

Edward Kitchener Trotter
(Lennard Pearce)

Grandad has a definite mournful streak, the result of years of hardship in his younger days. He tends to be a "bit of a liability", but Del and Rodney think the world of him.
Grandad is a well loved character through out his acting days.
